Kitty Likes Biscuits

This is a small 80s aesthetic 2D arcade puzzle platformer where you play as a kitty who is hungry for biscuits! Use your limited jumps to make your way to the biscuit, pick up a few collectibles on the way, and avoid falling into the pit! Made for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2

Average clear time: 20-40 minutes depending on platformer skill, but the last level is pretty hard.

Controls: This game only requires the mouse! Click and drag the mouse to charge up your jump, and release the mouse to leap! Pick up the green jump powerups to reset your jump in midair! Hit the escape key to leave fullscreen mode when you're done playing (quitting the game doesn't work properly in the web build)

Known bugs: 

• Night 4's star and Night 5 are impossible, hotfixed in b1.0.1
• Retrying and hitting the death plane simultaneously can cause the game to lock  should be hotfixed in b1.0.1
• The death plane in some levels is too high, causing some levels to be more difficult than intended should be hotfixed in b1.0.2
• The jump charging and guide circle sometimes appears behind objects, when it should always be drawn on top should be hotfixed in b1.0.3
• Mobile platforms unsupported (this seems too hard to fix for now)

Note: Versions b1.0.1, b1.0.2, and b1.0.3 were uploaded after the deadline, but only differ from b1.0 in bugfixes and some levels that were fixed to be possible, which we think is allowed under the jam rules.
